4 Psalms about God's care
The Bible says that God cares for His children. The Psalms speak of God's love and care throughout the centuries for His faithful ones. And God does not change. The same God who cared for King David cares for you today! If you love God, He is with you at all times, helping and sustaining you.
These Psalms express trust and confidence in the constant presence and care of God in the lives of those who trust in Him.
The Lord is your Shepherd:
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
He refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for His name’s sake.
Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff,
they comfort me.
- Psalm 23:1-4
The Lord is your protector. Rest in His loving arms:
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
- Psalm 91:1-2
Trust in God. He will not let you stumble:
He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
- Psalm 121:3-4
God is always with you. He will guide and sustain you:
Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
- Psalm 139:7-10
The Psalms offer comfort to the soul by proclaiming the constant presence and loving care of God. Knowing that God guides, comforts, and is always present brings peace even in challenging times. These words are a source of hope, reminding us that no matter the circumstances, we can trust in God's eternal care.

Admire the creation and praise the Creator!
The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
- Psalm 19:1
As you look at the sky and see the creation of our Lord, you can learn more about the glory, greatness, and power of our God. Make it a point today to admire creation and praise the Lord. Give thanks for being able to see the blue sky, smell the flowers, hear the birds sing, feel the warmth of the sun, and enjoy the refreshing breeze. All these ordinary manifestations of nature are part of God’s blessings in your life. Do not ignore them.
Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory
in the heavens.
Through the praise of children and infants
you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger.
When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?
- Psalm 8:1–4
Praise and thank God for His creation.
