Word of the Day: Everything You Need, God Will Provide

God knows what you need, trust. Jesus taught us not to worry about tomorrow. God knows what we need and will supply all our needs.

But this promise has a condition: to put the Kingdom of God first in your life. You have to surrender wholeheartedly.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Matthew 6:33

Matthew 6:33 emphasizes the importance of seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, ensuring that all other needs will be met. This instruction resonates as an invitation to place our trust in divine providence by making the Kingdom of God our primary pursuit.

By trusting in God's guidance and seeking His righteousness, you will open the doors to the generous provision He has promised to those who earnestly seek Him. So, plunge into faith, confident that God is faithful to His word and will fulfill His promises in your life.

Are you prepared to throw yourself into the arms of Jesus without looking back? Do this and then pray and ask. The God who knows you better than anyone else will bless you with everything you need.

21 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God 22 and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. 23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.

1 John 3:21-23

Word of the Day: Be Successful with God

Seasons change and time passes. But Christians, who are trees planted in the love of God, have leaves that do not wither and always bear fruit in due season.

God promises that when we are rooted in His love, we can be successful!

They are like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.
- Psalm 1:3

Psalm 1:3 brings us a powerful image of a tree firmly rooted in streams of water. This tree symbolizes a blessed and fruitful life.

Just as the tree depends on the water to survive and thrive, we too need God's guidance and spiritual nourishment to grow and flourish. When we connect with God, we become like this tree, able to withstand life's storms because our roots are deeply anchored in faith and God's love.

Yields its fruit in season: This phrase teaches us the importance of patience and trust in God. Just as the tree does not rush the ripening of its fruit, we too should not hurry, but trust that everything will happen at the right time.

Its leaf does not wither: This reflects the constancy of divine blessing in our lives. Even in difficult times, when the leaves of our tree seem to wither, God's presence will sustain us and renew our strength.

Whatever they do prospers: This verse reminds us that when we seek to follow God's path, our efforts are blessed and fruitful. Prosperity here does not only refer to material wealth, but also to a life of meaning, love, and purpose.

Therefore, let us be like this tree by the streams of water, trusting in God's guidance, being patient in our spiritual growth, and confident that, with God's grace, we will prosper in every aspect of our lives.

Day Before Yesterday's Word

Word of the Day: simply trust in God

The Israelites were terrified! They were fighting the Philistines, and their army was being led by a giant. Goliath, who was a champion within the ranks of the Philistines, challenged the Israelites to send out their champion to fight him. No one was brave enough to do so, except for one young shepherd boy by the name of David. He was filled with faith in God and volunteered to face Goliath.

Despite being vastly outnumbered and facing a formidable opponent, David approaches Goliath armed only with a sling and five smooth stones. Goliath mocks him, but David declares his trust in God

"David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied."
1 Samuel 17:45

With unwavering trust in God's strength and protection, David slung a stone at Goliath, striking him in the forehead and defeating him. This miraculous victory showcases the power of trusting in God even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. David's faith and courage inspire us to trust in God's guidance and provision in our own lives, knowing that with God, all things are possible.

Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust
in the name of the Lord our God.
Psalms 20:7

We live in a material world of cars, money, and beauty, but all of these things must come to an end. Trusting in these things takes us a step further away from God and the life he has in store for us. But those who trust in God have their feet firmly on the Rock. Remember the story Jesus told of the man who built his life upon the rock, that man was ready to face the day-to-day challenges and struggles.

Today is a good day to ask yourself the question: who do I put my trust in? Everything but God will crumble away, but the Word of God will remain forever. Simply trust in the Lord, our God!
