Do we trust God?
It's natural to wonder why, even when we trust in God, anxiety can still enter into our thoughts. Trusting in God offers us peace and tranquility, and yet we often find ourselves holding back, not fully trusting in God. In the Bible, we read words of faith and comfort provided to soothe our hearts. Despite life's storms, there's peace available that surpasses all understanding and that can anchor us safely.
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7
In this verse, God reassures us that we can safely leave worries behind, and bring everything to Him through prayer. He shows us that we are not alone in our struggles and challenges. When we surrender our lives to God in prayer, He gives us a peace that surpasses everything.
Anxiety is not a sin, however, how we respond to anxiety can lead to sinful behavior if we are not careful. Anxiety can overwhelm us, and ruin us, so we need to address the root causes of anxiety, cultivate trust in God, and seek His peace in every situation. The first step is to approach God in prayer. When we talk to God, and share our fears, hopes, and needs He listens to us and calms us with His loving presence.
Thank Him, even in difficulties, for it helps us see His blessings even in tough situations.
The peace that God gives us does not depend on our circumstances. It is a peace that fills our hearts and minds, guarding us from fear. This peace goes beyond what the physical world can offer us, it appears contrary to what the world values, but it is a priceless gift that strengthens us and helps us face life's uncertainties.
So, when we feel anxious, we should remember this verse and trust in God, talk to Him in prayer, and let His peace fill our hearts. He is always ready to listen to us and take care of us.

Do you value and love your brothers and sisters?
How good and pleasant it is
when God’s people live together in unity!
- Psalm 133:1
God did not create us to live alone. He chose us and called us to be a united family that glorifies His name. In order to be united, we must genuinely love our brothers and sisters, and to love others we must first love God.
One of the things God gives us when He receives us as His children is His love. But along with His love, we also receive the command to love others.
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
- John 15:12
And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.
- 1 John 4:21
Examine your heart today and evaluate your level of love for others. Ask the Lord to help you love your brothers and sisters in the faith and to see them as He sees them. Open your heart to God’s work and allow Him to give you greater love for His family and for everyone around you.
Each person was created in the image of the Lord. Learn to appreciate God’s design in others. Treat people with respect and dignity, just as you would like to be treated. And remember, the more you open your heart to the Holy Spirit of God, the more love you will feel for those around you, especially for your brothers and sisters in Christ.
Take advantage of today to tell a brother or sister in the faith how important they are to you. Call them or send them a message of encouragement and gratitude. You can also share a Bible verse with a word of encouragement.
Begin today to value and love the brothers and sisters God has given you.

Receive God's Touch in Your Life
In life, we develop relationships with other people through communication. We can know the Lord when we spend time talking to Him. It's impossible to have intimacy with God without prayer.
God hears every word when we pray, and if we ask according to His perfect and pleasing will, He grants it. This is one of the keys to the Christian life: much prayer, much power; little prayer, little power.
Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
Jeremiah 29:12
The verse Jeremiah 29:12 reminds us of God's promise to always be present in our lives, ready to listen when we call out to Him. It's a reminder that at all times, God is willing to hear us, welcome our prayers, and answer the desires of our hearts.
In our moments of joy, and gratitude, and even in times of despair, we can seek God's presence in prayer, confident that He is willing to listen to us. This reminds us of the importance of constant communion with our Heavenly Father, our need to lay our burdens and joys before Him, knowing that He cares for us.
In prayer, we find peace, strength, and guidance. It's a precious moment of spiritual intimacy where we place our anxieties and gratitude before our Heavenly Father, strengthening our faith and connection with Him. Therefore, let us be encouraged to seek His presence and pray to Him, trusting that He will listen and respond according to His will, for He is faithful to His promises.
Take some time now to talk to your Heavenly Father.
