Discover the Secret of Victory in Jesus

In life, we all face battles. Some choose to fight alone and end up discouraged and frustrated in a cruel world.

But if you entrust everything into the hands of Jesus, you can be a winner because He has overcome the world! With Jesus by your side, you can withstand any attack, overcome any challenge, and surpass any barrier!

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33

In this passage of the Bible, Jesus tells us something very special. He says that his message is the key to peace. And although Jesus acknowledges that life can be difficult and full of problems, He encourages us not to lose heart. Why? Because He has overcome all the challenges the world can bring.

The message is clear: we will have difficult times, but Jesus encourages us to be courageous because He has already overcome all difficulties. This victory is not just a story; it is something that affects our lives right now. In Jesus, we have the promise of a happy ending to our story and the certainty that, even during trials, we can have peace.

This passage calls us to place our trust in God, knowing that with Jesus, we are safe regardless of the circumstances. He is our constant source of peace, and His victory gives us the courage to face whatever comes. May this promise help us deal with life's challenges, knowing that in Jesus, we find a peace that surpasses understanding.

Called to go against the tide

But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
- Luke 6:35–36

One of the most difficult areas for followers of Jesus is to love our enemies and do good to those who have wronged us. We are human beings like everyone else, and our inner self cries out for vengeance, for justice, to show once and for all that we can defend ourselves.

However, Jesus was very clear in His words and in His example. We are called to love our enemies, to treat well those who have harmed us, to be kind to those who have despised us. A complicated task! Our emotions want to take control, but that’s when we must remember that God said:

Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”says the Lord.
- Romans 12:19

So, when you feel the urge to return evil for evil, to respond to insults and contempt, choose to be like Jesus and go against the current. Pray for those who have hurt you and, if possible, be kind and gracious. In due time, God will bring justice.

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”says the Lord.
- Romans 12:17-19

Live in Constant Joy!

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
- Philippians 4:4

Being happy can vary greatly depending on the situations we face in our lives. Therefore, it may seem very difficult to live out this verse. With so much stress, hardship, and problems that arise in our daily lives, how can we be as joyful as the apostle Paul says?

However, the joy referred to in the letter to the Philippians is not based on what happens to us day by day, but on what Jesus has done for all of us. Rejoice in the sacrifice of Jesus, something that has no expiration date. What Jesus did for humanity is valid for you today and will continue to be valid forever.

The salvation from eternal condemnation, together with the merciful presence of the Lord Jesus sustaining us every day, should fill our hearts with joy. This joy from salvation, which surpasses all understanding, should nourish us daily!

Rejoice in the reality that you are saved and have eternal life in Christ. Jesus has set you free from living under punishment and has opened the door to eternal happiness.

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.
- John 3:36

For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.
- John 6:40
