Word For Today
A daily word for you to receive inspiration and make your day better.
Today's Word
Enjoy today
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might
- Ecclesiastes 9:10a
Each new day gives us a fresh opportunity to use the gifts and strengths that God has given us. We don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but we do have the precious gift of today. What will we do with it?
If you woke up today healthy and strong, thank God and ask Him how you can impact and bless the people around you in His name. There are so many around us, family, friends, neighbors, fellow citizens. Be encouraged today to use your gifts to help and bless them.
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
- Colossians 3:17
Sometimes the simplest things can have the greatest impact on someone’s life. Write or speak a word of encouragement to a friend who is going through a hard time. Prepare an extra portion of food and surprise someone with an invitation. Visit someone who is sick or elderly and far from family. Take any opportunity that arises today to bring the love and presence of Christ to others.
Enjoy this day in which you have strength and health. Serve God and serve others.
Yesterday's Word
Overcome these 3 fears with the help of Jesus
The fear of the future paralyzes you and keeps you from living all the blessings God has for your life. That’s why it’s important to face your fears, fighting them with the help of God’s Word. The true love of God drives out all fear.
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
- 1 John 4:18
In the Bible, we are reminded that God’s love is complete, without flaws, and able to dissolve any fear we may feel. This love surpasses our understanding and brings with it a peace that calms our hearts.
As we draw near to this perfect love, we find safety and refuge. God loves us unconditionally, regardless of our imperfections. It’s a love that surrounds us, sustains us, and transforms us. When we understand this love, we recognize that we are loved, and that empowers us to love others in the same way, overcoming insecurity.
In God’s perfect love, we discover that we don’t need to fear the future, difficulties, or judgment. He invites us to trust Him and live in His grace. May we share this love with those around us, creating an environment of acceptance, compassion, and care. In God’s perfect love, we find the true peace that surpasses all understanding.
Do not be afraid or insecure, receive God’s love, draw near to Him, and move forward with confidence and joy.
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
- Deuteronomy 31:8

How to get rid of resentment
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
- Ephesians 4:32
Forgiving is not easy, but living with resentment is the worst option. Resentment robs us of joy and makes life bitter.
If you hold on to resentment, you will see that it will destroy your life. However, the Bible teaches us to get rid of this unpleasant and negative feeling through forgiveness. When you forgive, you choose to let go of bitterness and leave justice in God’s hands. Forgiveness heals wounds and restores relationships.
Is there a relationship you need to restore? Pray to God to fill you with love and help you forgive. Remember that forgiveness is not optional: God calls us to forgive just as He forgave us.
And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.
- Mark 11:25–26 (NKJV)
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
- Colossians 3:12–13
Cast out resentment and let God transform your life. Learn to forgive with Jesus’ help and live more joyfully!
