God, in His infinite goodness, demonstrates His immeasurable love for all children, a love that transcends time and human understanding.

In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus declared: "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14). This statement highlights the importance and value of children in the Kingdom of God. They possess a pure faith and innocence that God deeply cherishes.

Psalm 127:3 reminds us that "children are a heritage from the Lord, a reward from Him." This promise not only assures us that God entrusts us, as parents and caregivers, with the task of caring for His precious creation, but also that He Himself is constantly watching over and guiding each step of the children in His love.

We are called to emulate God's heart in our relationship with children. We must teach them the Scriptures, modeling the principles of God's Kingdom from an early age, as Proverbs 22:6 reminds us. By doing so, we contribute to their growth in faith, wisdom, and love for God.

In the examples of biblical characters such as Joseph, Samuel, and David, we see that God not only loves children but also empowers them to play significant roles in His plans. Therefore, let us recognize and celebrate God's love for children, teaching them the truth and guiding them to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Verses that Show God Loves Children

See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

- Matthew 18:10

Jesus teaches us to value and protect children. He reminds us of the importance of treating them with love and respect because they are precious in God's eyes, and He expects us to care for them with tenderness and responsibility.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, Mathew 19:14

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.

- Matthew 19:14

In an episode recorded in the Gospels, some people tried to keep the children away from the Lord. Jesus' disciples thought He had better priorities than blessing children. But Jesus wanted, and still wants, to bless children! The Gospel is simple, and those who come to Jesus need to be humble like a child to recognize their mistakes and their need for salvation.

Children are a heritage from the Lord,
offspring a reward from him.

- Psalm 127:3

Taking care of a child is a challenging task, but it is also a blessing! God sees children as a gift He gives to parents, a source of joy and new experiences. Every child is a special blessing.

He took a little child whom he placed among them. Taking the child in his arms, he said to them, 37 “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.

- Mark 9:36-37

Jesus always identified with the most humble and vulnerable people. He showed that doing good to a child is like doing good to Him because Christ loves children and cares for them. If God loves children this way, we should also love them and seek their well-being.

Teach children about the love of God!
