Do you feel worthless? You may have done many wrong things, but God loves you! You are very valuable to God. God is saddened by sin, but he doesn't measure your worth according to what you do, how successful you are, how smart you are, or how you look. God loves you for who you are.

You are valuable to God. You are beautiful, unique, chosen. Here are some Bible verses about you being special in God's eyes:

1. You are made in God's image

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

"So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them."
Genesis 1:27

Every person reflects a bit of God's glory. You are no exception! In the midst of your imperfections, God sees beauty and great potential. You are special because you were made in God's image! Remember that your value and dignity are born precisely from this reality in God!

2. God created you

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. Psalm 139:13

For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Psalm 139:13

You are not an accident. You are not a mistake. God formed you with precision and care. Before you even existed, you were part of God's amazing plan.

3. God cares about you

And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Matthew 10:30

And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Matthew 10:30

God cares about the details you don't even think about! He knows everything about you and loves you.

4. God gave everything for you

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 1 John 4:9

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
1 John 4:9

God loves you so much that he gave his greatest treasure to be with you: his only son. Jesus died and rose again so that you could know God's love, which restores, corrects, and transforms your life.

5. In God's eyes, you are precious

Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life. Isaiah 43:4

Since you are precious and honored in my sight,
and because I love you,
I will give people in exchange for you,
nations in exchange for your life.

Isaiah 43:4

More important than receiving recognition from people is receiving recognition from Jesus. Because of Jesus' sacrifice, God sees in you the dignity and honor of a beloved son. Even if some people judge you badly or belittle you, you are very valuable in God's eyes.

6. God is with you

“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." 1 John 4:4

"You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world."

1 John 4:4

God cares so much that he treats you as a good father treats his children; He loves, cares for, protects, and never abandons his children. Greater is He who is in us than the trials and evil that is in the world...

7. You are part of God's chosen people

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." 1 Peter 2:9

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."

1 Peter 2:9

You are what the Bible says you are! Don't let anyone deceive you otherwise. You have an identity in Christ. You are part of God's chosen generation, the royal priesthood, the holy nation, His exclusive people, to proclaim all His wonders!

8. You are a child of God

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!" 1 John 3:1 a

"See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!"

1 John 3:1 a

No one is born as a child of God (John 1:12). By nature, we are God's creatures and we became His children when we received Jesus, the only begotten Son, as our Lord and Savior. He loved us so much that He decided to adopt us as legitimate children into His great family!

09. A high price was paid for you

“you were bought at a price." 1 Corinthians 6:20a

"you were bought at a price."
1 Corinthians 6:20a

God paid a very high price to redeem you for Himself. The debt incurred by humanity (all our sin) was impossible to pay without the help of our Savior, Jesus. Remember just how valuable you are!

10. God doesn't forget you

“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!" Isaiah 49:15

"Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget,
I will not forget you!"
Isaiah 49:15

God has not forgotten you and never will... He doesn't forget because he knows that we depend on him, just as a tiny baby needs its mother. He takes care of you, even when you don't realize it. Even if your parents abandoned you, your heavenly Father would never do that. God will never leave you alone!

11. God has given you the best

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
John 3:16

You are not alone or helpless in this life. God's strong love provides for your greatest need: eternal life. This life is not restricted to the future but already begins here. Believe and let Jesus be your greatest gift! You will not perish, not now and not later.

12. You are very important to God

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Romans 8:32

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
Romans 8:32

Together with Jesus Christ, God has given you life and still gives you many blessings! These are countless gifts from the Father to you because He loves you with never-ending love. Look at Jesus and understand how valuable you are to God! He cares about you, understands your weaknesses, and helps you to carry on! Trust in the Lord... There is no other love as great as this!
