Messages for your life from our heavenly Father! Words with pictures to share God's love with everyone. Our God is powerful, loves us, and has already poured out His grace on our lives.
Read, meditate, and rejoice in the Lord!
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11
You may be going through difficult times that have the potential to undermine your faith, so stand firm! God has poured out promises and blessings on our lives. Hold on to the promise that God has released for you! The people of Israel were captives in Babylon, but God fulfilled His promise through the word of the prophet Jeremiah. In God, we have prospects and hope! Trust in God!
"Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.""
John 14:6
The disciples were bewildered after hearing Jesus say what would happen to him. At one point, Thomas asked the master a question: "Lord, we don't know where you are going; how then can we know the way?" Jesus' answer was powerful: he was the way! The necessary sacrifice that would give direct access to the Father. This is the truth, immutable and absolute; the only way that leads to eternal life. May we walk on these words!
"12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it."
John 14:12-14
Our God is powerful. He sent us His Son so that we could have direct access to him. Through Jesus, we have been reached by grace. He gave us the authority to spread the message of salvation. What's more, he said that we could do great things in his name!
To start doing God's will, we have to do just one thing: believe in Jesus and his sacrifice for us! Whoever believes in the Son also believes in the Father. We will do great things in the mighty name of Jesus!
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9
Joshua was placed in a position of great responsibility: to lead the people of Israel towards the Promised Land. God did not leave Joshua alone. The Lord of hosts went ahead of him.
Don't be afraid to do God's will with your life. God is with you wherever you go! Our God is the winner of battles, and in Him we are more than conquerors, in Christ Jesus!
"Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.'
James 1: 12
If there's one quality we have to hone, it's our persistence in doing God's will. We can only keep going in the face of trials by strengthening our faith.
Victory is already ours, Jesus has already won it! It's up to us to persevere and strive in faith to achieve the reward in Christ Jesus. The result of this effort will bring us joy and encouragement. Let's press on towards the goal and take possession of the crown that God has promised us!
"Trust in the Lord forever,
for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal."
Isaiah 26:4
The Lord is our Rock. He doesn't change His word, so we can rely on Him with all our hearts. God's Word is solid and effective, we don't need other words to base our lives on.
The rock does not move with the wind, it withstands the rain and all weather, and so too is the Word of God. Let us trust in His Word and we will certainly not be shaken, for we are founded on the Rock!
"if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
2 Chronicles 7:14
As God's chosen and separated people, we must encourage one another to stay on the path of salvation. We must exhort one another in love so that we all grow spiritually and mobilize in prayer to seek God's face.
God has already poured out his promise and it's up to us to stand firm and seek his face. He will heal our people, pour out his forgiveness, and heal our land!
"2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
3 “You shall have no other gods before me.
.
Exodus 20:2-3
God has delivered his people as he promised. He keeps his word. We must obey him to remain under the cover of his promises.
Through Jesus Christ, we are delivered from the slavery of sin when we declare that He is the Savior of our lives. We Worship him in response to this truth.
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength."
Deuteronomy 6:5
One of the key foundations for staying on the Lord's path is to pursue worship with unwavering strength. By doing so, we fortify our faith. The effort, and dedication involved in such love demands nothing less than complete commitment.
God loves us and has already done everything for us. Jesus set the benchmark of all the love that God can give us. Nothing and no one can love us more than he loved us. God is the reason why our hearts swell with joy!
"Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the Lord your God is giving you."
Deuteronomy 5:16
When God guides us (just as a father teaches his child) we see His love and care for us. Sometimes it hurts to be corrected, but the Father knows what He's doing. And those who obey their parents tend to live longer, love more, and rejoice more!
The result of obedience to this passage is a healthy family from generation to generation. An obedient son can become an honorable father, and this cycle is complete. We can only maintain this balance by loving our parents and honoring them in life with our attitude and words.
"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.”Hebrews 13:5
God has already given us the greatest proof of love there can be: he gave his Son for our sakes! How can we not believe in His Word? Why worry when God himself said he would never abandon us?
We have to rekindle our hearts with God's promises! He is faithful to fulfill His Word and He is not a man to lie. If we make His Kingdom paramount in our lives, He will supply all things! Trust in God!
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6
Although Moses did not enter the Promised Land, this isn't because God abandoned his people. It was at this moment that Joshua was raised up, and God's promises continued to be upon the people through Joshua's leadership.
There will be times of struggle in our lives, which will require us to adapt and persevere, but even then, the promises are still upon us. We have to overcome our fears and encourage ourselves in God! He is the strong God, he will never abandon us!
"Now all has been heard;
here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God and keep his commandments,
for this is the duty of all mankind."
Ecclesiastes 12:13
This advice from King Solomon came from God. The fear of God and his commandments are fundamental for a life of righteousness and holiness.
If we don't obey God, who would we obey? We would be lost in our own opinions, deceived by ourselves and would certainly die as a result of a life without God. That's why God is essential, He is our "north" and Jesus is the Way that leads to life!
"1The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.
2 “I will make you into a great nation,
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you.”Genesis 12:1-3
God made a great promise to Abraham. Through his lineage came the people of God. The Lord has done great things among those people! When Abraham left the land of his kindred, he had no idea how blessed he would be. We too are also blessed by God in unimaginable ways.
God always does more than we can ask or imagine. His blessings are beyond our understanding. Knowing this, we must surrender and trust in God. His plans are greater than ours and his blessings greater than we can count.
"I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing."
Ezekiel 34:26
God gave this word to His people during their exile in Babylon. Even in the worst conditions, God didn't leave His people helpless, He raised up prophets to bring His Word, and he promised to shower blessings over them.
God knew the date and time that His people would be freed and, through the prophets who announced the need to repent and be delivered, he spoke to his people. God did not leave His children destitute. God was with His people throughout all their suffering, and will be with us too!
"For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!"
Ezekiel 18:32
Many people have a picture in their mind of a God that is a mean and cruel being. Most of these people confuse the consequences of human actions with God's will. God is not pleased with anyone's death; on the contrary, God rejoices when a person accepts Christ and receives eternal life: "there is a feast in heaven".
The proof of His love is in the price that was paid on the cross. He gave his own Son, Jesus, so that we could have eternal life and the forgiveness of our sins. Unfortunately, many people don't know the God of love and that's why we need to declare this Word to everyone!
12 “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."
Revelations 22:12 - 13
As we look around us, we can tell that the Lord's return is coming, we live in the Now and Not Yet of the Kingdom. The earth is full of evil that seeks to take away the honor and glory of Christ. But evil actions and behavior have consequences, just as living a life pleasing to God brings reward. The evil will be no more so that God can be glorified on the Great Day.
God is the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Stand confidently in the promise of God's return, by sharing the Word with those around you.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33
We will go through difficulties and problems, but we can decide how we will get through them: with Jesus or on our own. Those who love Jesus are already guaranteed victory. Even in difficulties, it is possible to have God's peace and get through the desert. In Jesus, we are victorious because he won for us!
"Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God."
Lucas 18:27
Nothing is impossible for God. There is nothing that can prevent His will. We have limitations as men, but he who is in Christ can achieve great things through the Son of God. We have received what would have been impossible for us: payment for our sins. This was a gift to us! We have received salvation for free and we are living proof that what was impossible for us is possible for God!
"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me."
Revelation 3:20
The Word of God is not invasive, but it is a powerful source of love. There will always be an opportunity to open the door and welcome Jesus into your heart. He will always be waiting for us with open arms. Jesus is the best companion we can have.
When we hear His Word and recognize that He is the savior of our lives, we open the door! So don't waste time, open the door of your heart to Jesus!
