1. A good wife loves God
God is always first in the life of an exemplary wife. She knows that God is more important than anything else and wants to obey His commandments. The exemplary wife places her marriage in God's hands.
2. A good wife respects her husband
An exemplary wife seeks her husband's well-being and does not try to tear him down. She respects her husband and does not attempt to humiliate him. She is the partner he can trust, ready to help and stand by his side.
3. A good wife is hopeful
An exemplary wife knows that God is in control of all things. In difficult times, she finds strength in God and is not overwhelmed by despair. She trusts God to take care of her family.
4. A good wife is hardworking
Marriage is a team effort. Each person needs to do their part. An exemplary wife works in harmony with her husband to support the family. For some wives, this means dedicating themselves to household tasks; for others, it means doing good work at a job.
5. A good wife is prudent
Prudence means being sensible and wise. The exemplary wife seeks wisdom and examines things carefully. She has the wisdom to teach and give advice. A husband who listens to the advice of an exemplary wife is wise.
