What do you keep inside your heart? What is in your heart is reflected in your attitudes, your thoughts and your words. By keeping the Word of the Lord within your being, you will act in a way that pleases God and experience His will.

So examine the books you read, the movies you watch, the conversations with your friends and the thoughts that fill your mind. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and give you the wisdom to choose what strengthens your relationship with God.

Do you want to overcome sin in your life? Do you want to live a righteous life before God in order to glorify Him at all times? Put the Word of God in your heart! Read the Bible, meditate on it and see how your life begins to look more and more like the life of Jesus.

Are you anxious for your prayers to be answered? The prophet Habakkuk raised some questions before the Lord. There were situations that he couldn't understand, so he sought God to present his questions. However, it's not just about going your own way. Habakkuk remained alert like a good watchman, certain that God would answer his pleas.

Do you stand before God with that same certainty? Take your questions to God and he will direct you according to his will. What changes can you make in your day, or week, to have a warm time with the Lord?

Yes, God answers your prayers. He always has and will continue to do so. But when you spend more time with Him and are more attentive to His voice, you will experience more peace. Your spirit will be strengthened and you will be able to face life's challenges in a different way, holding the hand of your beloved Savior.

If you are a servant of the Lord, you know that justice comes from him and you can be sure that he will fight for you. We often think that we can't wait any longer, that we need God's intervention immediately. But God knows the best time and the best way to show His justice.

Wait on the Lord. Trust in the inheritance promised to you as a servant of God. Stand firm in faith and cling to God. Remember what Psalm 27:13-14 says:

Have you put all your hope in God? I'm sure that sometimes it's not easy for you to wait for the Lord to answer your request. Can you think of times when you decided to act on your own instead of waiting for God's? It's not the best idea. When you wait on God, you receive the best, what is within your will. By waiting on him, well-being will come to you because his ways are much wiser and better.

This verse gives us a very tender image of God. The Lord bowed down and heard their cry. Imagine a mother or father bending down to listen to their beloved baby. He draws near because he is interested in hearing and understanding what is happening to his children, what is troubling their hearts.

In the same way, God approaches you as a loving Father. He is not a distant God, He is close to you at all times. God hears your words and hears your cry. Talk to Him! Don't forget that you can trust him to act at the right time, because he loves you and cares about you. Never stop putting your hope in God.

I'm sure that things you can't understand are happening all around you. At times, evil may seem to predominate. Always remember that God reigns. The Lord Jesus is in control of everything that happens and knows why things happen. The fact that God reigns should fill your heart with joy. If you've read the whole Bible, you know that the end is written: God wins! He is the winner and will reign for all eternity.

God is the great blesser. He has given you life, your family, your friends, the nature that surrounds you, your brothers and sisters in Christ. Above all, God has given you the blessing of knowing him and receiving forgiveness for your sins.

With God you have the certainty of eternal life. You know that any suffering, sickness or problems you have in your earthly life will come to an end. But your life with Him is forever, it will last for all eternity. That is the greatest blessing! Thank God for all his goodness to you and live each day happily in the security of his presence and forgiveness.

For some, this is inconceivable, it would be a boring reality, without pleasure. But they only say this because they only know a life of sin. God planned from the foundation of the world that his creatures would enjoy his presence eternally, and so we will.

Jesus will always be with us, no matter what happens. He ascended into heaven, sat on his throne and reigns over all, but that doesn't make him distant from us, quite the opposite. His sovereignty over all things was won on the Cross, because the Father gave it to him.
