Prayer is one of the main ways to develop intimacy with God. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective (James 5:16), and it is one of the main weapons of the believer in Jesus.
To pray is to talk with God, to share with Him our desires, our uncertainties, our joys - everything! When we pray from the heart, we can receive the comfort, peace, and love of the Father.
We can be joyful because God always hears the prayer of those who approach Him with humility.

1. Call Upon Me and I Will Hear You!
Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
- Jeremiah 29:12
Calling on the Lord means crying out in faith, like a friend who calls on another for help. God will hear us if we approach him with confidence in prayer.
2. Be Faithful In Prayer
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Be faithful in prayer, patient in difficult times, and joyful in hope. Trust in God's timing and the fact that He loves you and is always listening to you.

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

We are encouraged to persist in prayer, and are assured that God, in His righteousness, will surely respond to the prayers of His faithful, bringing justice and deliverance in His perfect timing. Let us pray without ceasing.

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."

32. Anyone can pray
17 "Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.
18 Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops."- James 5:17-18
You don't have to be very spiritual to pray and receive an answer. Elijah was a normal person, just like you. He prayed in faith and God answered.
33. Stay Alert
The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.
