The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.

A foolish woman can destroy her home through unwise decisions, bitterness, or neglect. But a wise one, through God given wisdom will build her house. Take some time to reflect on how are you building or tearing down the environment of your home?

Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

True beauty comes from being of good character, filled with wisdom, and reverence for God. External beauty is temporary, but the beauty of a woman who fears the Lord is eternal. How can you focus more on inner beauty, and seek God’s approval rather than the world’s?

A godly woman keeps her eyes fixed on God’s future, not clinging to past regrets or worldly things. Lot’s wife turned back and was consumed by the destruction of Sodom. This serves as a warning to not look back at past sins or attachments. Think about the areas in your life where you are looking back instead of looking forward to our God.

and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

A wise woman speaks with godly wisdom. She is able to provide guidance to her family and people around her. She is strong, dignified, and wise. Think for a moment on how you can cultivate wisdom and strength to face the future with hope.

16. Psalm 128:1-4

1 Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
who walk in obedience to him.
2 You will eat the fruit of your labor;
blessings and prosperity will be yours.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine
within your house;
your children will be like olive shoots
around your table.
4 Yes, this will be the blessing
for the man who fears the Lord.

The Lord never holds back - fear Him and obey His commands and you and your household will be blessed.

17. Ephesians 5:22-25

22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her

While the Lord made man and woman to support each other and work together, the Lord made the husband the head of his wife. Submitting to your husband doesn't make you inferior - it is just the will of God! Think if there is any resistance that you are putting up in this area.

18. 1 Timothy 2:9-10

9 I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, 10 but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.
