Share a Bible message and words of encouragement with those who are ill. No one likes to be poorly... sickness discourages us and destroys our plans. But illness is not a sign that God has abandoned you! In times of pain, sickness, and disease, the Bible has words of encouragement and healing.

1. Jesus understands your suffering

Jesus knows what it's like to be in extreme pain. He understands what you're going through and he's with you.

2. Jesus is your strength

4. God Restores

The Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness. Psalm 41:1-3

Faith in Christ Jesus is the first step toward healing. Without faith, it is impossible to please the Lord. Faith is the fuel that gives us hope and moves the heart of God.

6. Illness is not forever

Even if you have an incurable disease, you have hope. One day, in heaven, your health will be completely restored. There will be no more sickness or suffering, only joy!

9. The Lord heals

Do not be afraid to come to the Lord with your prayers and concerns, he loves you and wants to perform a miracle in your life. Respond to all that God has already done in your life with praise.

10. Prayer Changes Everything

11. God wants to ease your pain

13. Jesus can heal you

It is in the hardest moments that our faith is tested. Who do we turn to when nothing seems to be working out? Run into the arms of the Lord. He is your refuge and your medicine!

15. Your victory is for the glory of God

Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.”  John 11:3-4
